Is now inviting applications for two full time faculty positions in food chemistry and food processing
National Taiwan University is searching for two highly motivated and creative individuals to conduct research and teaching in (1) food chemistry and (2) food processing, respectively. Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent oral and written competence in Chinese, English, interpersonal skills, and willingness to work in a team. The position will be effective on August 1, 2013.
To assure full consideration, all application materials (4 copies) must be received by December 11, 2012. Applicants need to prepare a letter of application, curriculum vitae, undergraduate and graduate transcripts, a copy of Ph.D. diploma, Ph.D. dissertation or a representative paper (a full research paper published in a SCI journal after August 1, 2008, the applicant must be the first author or corresponding author and submit a verification of co-author’s contribution), copies of publications (published after August 1, 2006), list of publications, patents, technology transfer or other related creative performance, and an essay (no more than 10 pages) outlining teaching and research visions. Three letters of recommendation including one letter from a dissertation advisor must be mailed directly by the references. The recommendation letters should be from the advisors, supervisors or colleagues of the applicant. Position announcement can be found at http://www.fst.ntu.edu.tw.
